Dorothea to present at Healing Touch Regional Conference
The Western regional conference of the large and growing Healing Touch Program(tm) organization will be held on November 4 and 5, 2011, at the Ramada Inn in Portland, OR. Dorothea will be giving a keynote address on the ways recent developments of methods from the field of energy psychology can help to relieve the symptoms associated with both recent and remote traumatic events.
The title of the presentation is “Approaches to Addressing Trauma from Energy Psychology and Healing Touch.” Dorothea will include examples from her extensive work with long-term survivors of childhood abuse as well as more recent work with war veterans to treat Post -traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Another aspect of the presentation is to give the audience specific resources they use in dealing with people in distress.
